Duties
- Oversee the night shift front desk operations, including guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservations using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms.
- Conduct nightly audits by reconciling accounts, verifying billing accuracy, and preparing financial reports to ensure all transactions are correctly recorded.
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining positive guest relations through effective communication and hospitality skills.
- Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, utilizing proper phone etiquette to assist guests, staff, and vendors efficiently.
- Monitor hotel security through CCTV surveillance and perform routine safety checks in accordance with hotel emergency procedures to ensure guest and staff safety.
- Prepare shift reports detailing daily activities, incidents, and unresolved issues to ensure smooth handovers between shifts.
- Support guest relations by offering multilingual or bilingual assistance when needed and ensuring all guests feel valued and cared for during their stay.
- Prepare breakfast buffet for the guests.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, preferably within resort or hotel environments.
- Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or similar platforms used in hotel management.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on problem-solving and client communication to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Ability to handle night audit procedures accurately while maintaining attention to detail in financial reconciliation.
- Excellent phone communication skills combined with multi-line phone system proficiency and proper phone etiquette.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to respond effectively during incidents or emergencies.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively.
- Previous experience in resort settings or with hotel experience is preferred to better understand guest needs and hospitality standards.
