Position Summary: The RN Manager is a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing daily clinical operations, supporting nursing staff, and ensuring the highest standards of resident care. This role blends hands-on clinical oversight with strategic leadership to drive quality outcomes and a positive team culture.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily clinical operations within the assigned unit or department
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence
- Ensure high-quality care for all residents, with a focus on reducing avoidable hospitalizations
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support admissions, care planning, and resident outcomes
- Address and resolve clinical and operational challenges in real time
- Support staff development through coaching, education, and performance management
- Act as a liaison between staff, residents, families, and senior leadership to ensure strong communication and satisfaction
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
- CPR Certification
- Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Passion for mentoring and developing team members
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and problem-solve effectively
- Availability to work occasional weekends as needed
