Summary
The expectation of this position is to optimize and coordinate the logistics of international orders to meet customer needs and company business objectives. Essential functions include providing customer service; managing Cobb export processes in compliance with domestic and international government regulations; coordinating export activities to fulfill customer orders; maintaining an international invoice log for the Accounting department; and providing supply availability information and support to all business units.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year university or technical college preferred.
Experience: Three (3) or more months of related experience in the poultry industry and/or export division preferred.
Computer Skills: Standard computer skills required, including spreadsheet and word-processing applications. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is preferred.
Biosecurity: When visiting job sites, biosecure environments require showering prior to entering facilities. Appropriate clothing and footwear are provided by the company. No jewelry may be worn on job sites except for medical ID jewelry. Team members must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid contact with all avian species, including chickens, ducks, and other birds. The Company Animal Welfare Policy must be followed at all times.
Physical Requirements: Must use safe lifting techniques. While performing the duties of this position, the team member is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to touch, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk; or hear. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Supervisory Responsibility: None.
Travel: Minimal.
