REQUIREMENTS
- Associate's degree in paralegal studies, or equivalent. Real estate focus preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a real estate paralegal.
- Extensive knowledge of real estate documents, contracts, applications, and submissions.
- Competency in legal project management software, such as Qualia.
- Superb organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to be deadline sensitive and able to manage multiple priorities to meet commitments without sacrificing quality.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess and prepare contracts, lease agreements, and closing documents.
- Review financing options, lending requirements, title affidavits, and bankruptcy claims.
- Facilitate communication between property owners, landlords, clients, and lawyers.
- Answer client questions and escalate serious concerns.
- Conduct research and distribute real estate documents.
- Analyze title documents and legal descriptions of property.
- Document processes, maintain hard copy files and electronic records.
- Keep clients informed of progress made with real estate applications.
- Submit accurate legal documents in a timely manner.
- All other duties as assigned.
