Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing and Procurement:
- Conduct market research within the truck upfitting industry to identify potential suppliers for specialized equipment, parts, and materials.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions specific to the truck upfitting requirements.
- Source, purchase, and manage a wide range of truck customization components and accessories in line with organizational specifications.
Supplier Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers in the truck upfitting industry, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution regarding specialized products.
- Monitor supplier performance, track deliveries, and manage supplier contracts to ensure compliance with terms and adherence to customization standards.
