MEP Field Engineer | NYC Metro | $85,000 to $120,000 Bonus
We are a growing NYC MEP contractor with a strong pipeline of commercial and institutional projects across the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Manhattan, including multi-year NYCHA contracts. We are looking to add a Field Engineer to our team who wants to grow into a superintendent role and build a long-term career with us.
This is a field-based role. You will work alongside experienced superintendents and PMs as an on-site representative, managing daily documentation, coordinating subcontractors, and keeping projects moving. We invest in our people, vendor and manufacturer training is part of the job.
What you will be doing:
- Serving as on-site representative on active MEP projects across NYC
- Submitting daily construction and safety reports via project management software
- Tracking subcontractor progress, deliveries, inspections, and compliance
- Supporting PMs with scheduling, look-aheads, and coordination
- Growing into a superintendent role as the company expands
What we are looking for:
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a field engineer, project engineer, or APM role
- Background in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, or controls construction
- Eager to learn, coachable, and willing to adopt company systems and procedures
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle required
- OSHA 30 and NYC SST card (40-hour) required
- First aid/CPR a plus
