Description
Cobalt is looking for a Senior Revenue Operations Analyst to accelerate the growth and increase the efficiency of the Go-to-Market (GTM) teams in Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success. This role is a US-based remote position reporting to the Director of Revenue Operations.
What You Would Do
- Support our Sales, Marketing and Customer Success leadership in the annual planning process, including building GTM funnel models, proposing a bookings plan, creating coverage models, and aligning budgets to revenue plans.
- Design the variable compensation for the GTM teams, creating appropriate motivation to help Cobalt achieve its goals
- Manage the execution of the variable compensation system and ensure accurate calculations for variable compensation payouts
- Establish, track, and administer Key Performance Indicators (KPI) ensuring alignment across teams
- Manage and analyze key revenue and customer metrics to improve overall performance and identify areas for improvement
- Track key financial metrics for the GTM teams (bookings, renewals, etc.)
- Conduct deeper dive analysis on specific aspects of the GTM process, identifying areas for improvement and providing decision support for GTM leaders
- Plan and coordinate with Rev Ops systems experts to ensure the integrity of data in our GTM systems, particularly Salesforce.
You Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science or a related major with significant analytical coursework
- 3-5 years work experience in an analytical role, preferably revenue operations, sales operations or business operations
- Familiarity with sales and customer success processes
- Expertise with Excel, databases, and analytical models
- Experience with creating reports and managing dashboards in salesforce and generally working with datasets in salesforce
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive mindset, strategic focus and business acumen
- Process improvement experience, for example improving sales cycle times, win rates, or other metrics
