The primary function of the COBRA Direct Bill Representative is to facilitate accurate, timely and appropriate notification and enrollment to our group’s COBRA and Direct Bill members.

Responsibilities:
- Assist internal and external customers with COBRA and Direct Bill related inquiries.
- Review and understand new and existing Federal COBRA laws and regulations as they relate to our customers and clients.
- Processing Enrollments, Elections for our COBRA and Direct Bill members.
- Processing COBRA and Direct Bill premium payments.
- Request and process COBRA and Direct Bill renewal rates and plan changes.
- Assist in Client’s Implementation and Open enrollments.
- Perform Audits on COBRA and Direct Bill changes and accounts.
- Review and properly execute COBRA appeals for reinstatement.
- Provide professional and quality services to our clients.
- Aid in special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Knowledge or familiarity with medical terminology helpful
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to multi-task, be detailed oriented, and collaborate with multiple sources.
- Knowledge of MS Office products and proven ability to adapt to new software systems.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of sitting may be required.
- Regular use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse is necessary; reasonable accommodations will be provided upon request.
- Employees should ensure an ergonomically appropriate desk and chair setup.
- Comfort with being on camera for virtual meetings (e.g., Microsoft Teams).
