What are the responsibilities and job description for the ESY Summer Secondary Special Education Teachers position at Coatesville Area School District?
Special Education Teachers needed for the Secondary Summer 2026 ESY program!
Grade levels for this position will include 6th through 12th. There will be a meeting prior to the summer program beginning to attend to review program information and expectations. Applicants should have a demonstrated capacity of teaching diverse learners. Applicants should be committed to the success of all students and should have an understanding of special education legislation, regulations and procedures. The successful candidate will have the demonstrated ability to adapt curriculum to meet all students’ learning needs in order to ensure academic, social, and emotional growth.
Experience working with special education students preferred but not required.
Location(s): Intermediate Area High School and CASH
Schedule: Monday through Thursday
- July 6th to July 30th
Teacher Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Student Hours: 9:00 a.m.to 12:00 p.m.
Requirements:
Valid PA Teaching Certification required. Special Education Certification preferred.
Rate: $38/hour
Must be available for the entire length of the Summer School Program!
