What are the responsibilities and job description for the 8th Grade Girls Basketball Coach position at Coatesville Area School District?
Successful candidate will implement a successful 8th grade school program: practices, games and training sessions; effectively monitor student-athlete academic progress and behavior; liaison between administration, student-athletes, parents and community; foster a positive relationship with the middle school coaching staff and ensure smooth transition for student-athletes as they progress through the school program; Previous playing and/or coaching experience preferred. Applicant should have knowledge of rules, strategy, teaching progressions and fundamentals. Must be available after school, early evening and weekends, and develop an effective supervision plan for student-athletes at all times. Successful candidate will have knowledge of the rules for basketball and the ability to instruct students on strategies.
