Position Summary
The Quality Systems & ISO Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and improving Coastline Power Solutions’ quality management system (QMS). This role ensures compliance with ISO standards by managing documentation, training departments on proper procedures, and supporting audits and continuous improvement efforts across the organization.
This position plays a key role in building a culture of accountability, consistency, and quality throughout all departments.

Key Responsibilities
- Document Control & System Management
- Maintain and control all ISO/QMS documents (SOPs, work instructions, forms)
- Ensure documents are current, approved, and properly distributed
- Manage revision control and document change processes
- Organize and maintain document storage systems (digital and physical)
- Department Training & Support
- Train department leaders on:
- Writing effective work instructions
- Documenting processes correctly
- Following ISO standards
- Provide hands-on support building procedures for:
- Welding
- Assembly
- Material processing
- Paint
- Ensure documentation reflects actual shop practices (not theory)
- ISO Compliance & Auditing
- Support internal ISO audits and prepare departments for external audits
- Identify gaps in compliance and work with teams to correct them
- Track corrective actions and ensure timely closure
- Assist in maintaining ISO certification requirements
- Continuous Improvement
- Help departments improve processes through better documentation
- Identify inefficiencies, inconsistencies, and risks
- Support root cause analysis (CARs, 5 Whys, etc.)
- Drive standardization across departments
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work with Production, Safety, Engineering, and HR
- Ensure consistency between:
- What is documented
- What is trained
- What is actually happening
Required:
- 2–5 years in manufacturing, quality, or ISO environment
- Strong understanding of document control and process documentation
- Ability to train and communicate with shop-floor employees
- High attention to detail and organization
- Experience with ISO 9001 or similar standards
- Internal auditor certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience writing SOPs/work instructions in manufacturing
- Comfortable holding people accountable (including supervisors)
- Can translate “ISO language” into shop-floor language
- Organized and structured thinker
- Not afraid to walk the floor and challenge inconsistencies
