Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable driver to haul boats locally and regionally. This is hands-on work, not just driving, so we need someone who's comfortable around trailers, equipment, and the water. CDL license a big plus. Must be able to pass drug test immediately and willing to pursue CDL license (paid by Coastline).
Duties
- Transport boats to and from marinas, yards, and customer locations
- Load, secure, and unload boats using appropriate equipment and techniques to prevent damage during transit
- Plan optimal routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
- Assist with loading and unloading boats at various locations, demonstrating strong physical capability and attention to detail
- Assist with basic yard operations when needed
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver, preferably involving boat or heavy equipment transportation
- Proven expertise in commercial driving, with a clean driving record
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle maintenance tasks as needed
- Knowledge of traffic laws, safety protocols, and vehicle maintenance procedures related to large transport vehicles
