Job Description:
Coastline Ltd. is looking for an experienced Water Treatment Service Technician in the Richmond, VA area. The Water Treatment Service Technician is a field-based position who will be responsible for identifying, developing, and servicing existing and new accounts in the greater market. The Service Technician will work closely with our customers to provide water treatment programs tailored to their specific needs.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with current and potential customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovative plans to maintain and grow sales within the assigned territory.
• Develop strong relationships with plant or facility executives
• Demonstrate the ability to stabilize jeopardy business in strategic accounts
• Travel within assigned sales territory
• Schedule service and sales calls – includes monthly reporting
• Performing routine maintenance- water testing and sampling as required
• Responsible for ordering necessary products for the accounts when needed
• Be able to troubleshoot any issues that may occur
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial) or Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, etc.)
• Minimum of 3 years work experience in water treatment or similar industry
• Demonstrate leadership, organizational, and management skill
• Perform physical work in a HVAC, cooling towers, or boiler equipment environment requiring exposure to chemicals, noise, hot & cold temperatures, and inclement weather
• Knowledgeable in using a computer, tablet, smart phone, and other work-related technology
• MUST be Highly Motivated and a Self-Starter
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
• Ability to work flexible schedule, some weekends required depending on the servicing of accounts
• Required work activities include but are not limited to, climbing and descending stairs and ladders (from 10-30’ in height), sometimes while carrying drums of chemicals weighing up to 50 pounds.
