Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries, including product demos and educational information about cannabis products
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling retail sales transactions with accuracy and attention to detail
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented and replenished regularly
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers on different strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories
- Upsell complementary products and promote special offers to enhance customer satisfaction and sales volume
- Maintain proper cash handling procedures, including cash drawer management and balancing registers at shift end
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions promptly, maintaining phone etiquette, and fostering a positive store atmosphere
Skills
- Proven experience with POS systems and cash register operations in a retail environment
- Supervising experience or leadership skills to assist in team coordination when needed
- Strong communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers effectively
