Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Aesthetic Injector certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with prior experience to join our dynamic med spa team. In this role, you will deliver safe, effective, and personalized cosmetic treatments, to help clients achieve their aesthetic goals. Duties
- Perform aesthetic injections and laser treatments with precision and care, adhering to best practices and safety protocols
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review, skin analysis, and treatment planning to ensure optimal results
- Educate clients on treatment options, expected outcomes, post-treatment care, and potential risks to foster informed decision-making
- Maintain accurate medical documentation of procedures performed, patient responses, and follow-up care in electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems)
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards including HIPAA and DEA regulations
- Stay current with the latest advancements in aesthetic medicine, laser treatments, and injection techniques through ongoing education and training
- Manage patient flow efficiently within the clinic setting while delivering exceptional customer service and client satisfaction
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with active licensure in good standing
- Certified in aesthetic procedures such as botulinum toxin treatment and dermal filler administration
- Demonstrated experience working in medical office environments with proficiency in EMR/EHR systems
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology related to aesthetic injections and skin treatments
- Experience with advanced clinical techniques including laser treatments, IV infusion, suturing, sterile processing, and aseptic technique preferred
- Familiarity with CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), and drug enforcement regulations for medication prescribing and injection administration
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about treatment options and aftercare instructions
- Critical care experience or hospital-based practice background is advantageous for understanding complex cases or managing adverse reactions
- Additional skills such as telehealth experience, pain management expertise, or familiarity with healthcare diagnosis enhance your candidacy
