Your Role:
The Manager in Training (MIT) is an emerging or entry level or aspiring leader who is eager to learn the business from the ground up. This full-time, up to 12-month development program is designed to prepare high-potential individuals for future management and leadership opportunities within our growing organization.
The MIT will rotate through key business areas including Operations, Fleet Maintenance, Finance, and People Experience to gain a comprehensive understanding of how our company runs. Under the mentorship of experienced leaders, the MIT will take on real projects, lead initiatives, and develop the skills needed to manage people, processes, and performance in a fast-paced environment.
- Participate in structured rotations across business functions including Operations, Fleet Maintenance, Finance, and People Experience.
- Learn and apply core business processes, safety protocols, and operational systems fundamental to Coastal’s success.
- Support daily management activities, site operations, and business improvement projects.
- Analyze operational data and prepare reports to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve workflow efficiency and employee engagement.
- Engage in leadership development sessions, mentorship meetings, and project-based learning.
- Prepare and present project outcomes, reports, and recommendations to leadership.
- Demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and teamwork in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Uphold Coastal’s core values of integrity, accountability, and customer service.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred but not required.
- Equivalent experience demonstrating leadership, initiative, and problem-solving ability will also be considered (for example, experience in operations, logistics, customer service, or skilled trades).
- Proven leadership potential through work experience, military service, community involvement, athletics, or other activities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams.
- Available to start the program in January 2026.
