Your Role:
The Environmental Health & Safety Administrator provides administrative support across Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) programs, supporting the specific area of EHS they are aligned to, including Environmental Compliance, Safety, or both. This role focuses on maintaining accurate records, tracking compliance requirements, and supporting reporting and documentation processes to ensure Coastal Waste & Recycling remains organized, audit-ready, and compliant.
- Maintain and organize EHS documentation, including permits, inspections, incident records, training records, and compliance logs
- Track and monitor compliance requirements, including training completion, permit renewals, and regulatory reporting deadlines
- Support the preparation and organization of documentation for audits, inspections, and regulatory requests
- Maintain EHS data in systems, spreadsheets, and databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date reporting
- Support EHS team members in their assigned area (Environmental, Safety, or both) by compiling reports, updating records, and ensuring documentation accuracy
- Coordinate administrative aspects of EHS activities, including scheduling training, inspections, and follow-ups
- Partner with field teams to collect required documentation and ensure timely submission of EHS information
- Assist in improving administrative processes that support EHS compliance and operational efficiency
What We’re Looking For:
- Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Environmental Health & Safety, or related field preferred
- 1 year of administrative or office support experience preferred
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Experience supporting compliance, safety, or operations teams
- Familiarity with OSHA or DOT regulations (a plus, not required)
- Experience working in multi-site or field-based environments
