Membership Specialist & Receptionist
Position Summary
The Membership Specialist & Receptionist supports member enrollment, account management, membership renewals, and ongoing member services while serving as the first point of contact for visitors and callers. This position helps ensure a welcoming office environment and delivers a positive, professional experience for members, guests, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Manage member enrollment activities and assist with new member applications.
- Maintain and update member accounts and records.
- Process and support membership renewals.
- Provide responsive assistance to members regarding membership questions and services.
- Serve as the first point of contact for incoming phone calls, visitors, and guests.
- Greet visitors, direct inquiries to the appropriate staff member, and maintain a professional reception area.
- Assist with general office administration, including mail, filing, data entry, and document management.
- Monitor and respond to general inquiries, directing requests to the appropriate department as needed.
- Provide administrative support to staff and assist with other office duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in membership services, customer service, reception, or administrative support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, friendly, and customer-focused approach.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and work effectively as part of a team.
