Accounting Associate - Powersports

SUMMARY

Primary job responsibilities include, but   are not limited to, the timely completion of accounting related data entry tasks such as packing slips entry, daily cash/bank rec updates, daily credit card entry, other accounting data   entry as assigned. This is a full-time   office-based position. Remote work (hybrid schedule, subject to CVRF WFH policies) will be considered after the candidate demonstrates mastery of the job duties and responsibilities. Supervisors and managers over this line of business are available for training and questions, but this position will operate with a certain degree of autonomy to accomplish the work in a timely   manner.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES and SECONDARY   RESPONSIBILITIES

PRIMARY DUTIES

• Accounting assistance for Powersports Line of Business
• Data entry for invoice matching for parts packing slips.
• Data entry and bank transaction matching to accounting system for bank reconciliation.
• Data entry and bank transaction matching to accounting system for credit card reconciliation.
• Invoice entry for “regular” accounts payable.
• Timesheet entry for bi-weekly payroll. 
• This position reviews and identifies discrepancies and working with manager to resolve and post corrections or troubleshoot / input missing data as appropriate. 
• Assistance with monitoring Powersports accounting email.
• Other powersports accounting tasks as requested.
• Other CVRF accounting duties and special projects or tasks, as assigned, (if time permits)

KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to represent the company in a   professional manner, both verbally and in writing.  Must be adaptable   and willing to learn new tasks. Must   have a high level of attention to detail and a high regard for accuracy. Must   be able to work in a team setting, be highly organized, and have the ability   to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.  Primary duties are time   sensitive for downstream work to be completed. Overtime work is rare but occasionally   required. Ideal candidate will have working   knowledge of accounting to include experience with accounts payable, accounts   receivable, inventory receiving, and/or account reconciliation. Prior experience with accounting software   systems will be highly beneficial. Demonstrated   experience with Microsoft Excel is critical to this position. Prior experience with Microsoft Word,  PowerPoint, and other software is a bonus.  Knowledge of powersports, RV, boat, or auto   sales industry would be extremely helpful.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While   performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift   and move in excess of 25 lbs. The employee is required to stand; walk, stoop, kneel and crouch.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position   is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and fluorescent lighting.  It requires the regular use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system.  The noise level in   the work environment is usually moderate.
