Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Veterinarian located in Jacksonville, FL. The Associate Veterinarian will provide medical, surgical, and dental care to animals, including diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries. Additional responsibilities include conducting wellness exams, advising clients on preventive care, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring compassionate and ethical animal care. Collaborating with veterinary technicians and other team members to deliver exceptional service is a key aspect of the position.
Qualifications
- Veterinary medicine and clinical skills, including diagnosis, surgery, and emergency care
- Knowledge of preventive care practices, client education, and animal health wellness
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain accurate medical records
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and a valid veterinary license in the state of Florida
- Commitment to continuing education and staying informed about veterinary trends and advancements
