The Role
We're looking for an experienced General Manager to lead day-to-day operations for our trucking and oilfield services fleet. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows the trucking industry inside and out, holds a valid CDL, and is ready to take ownership of a growing operation.
What You'll Do
- Oversee daily operations of our trucking fleet, including vac trucks, winch trucks, end dumps, and frac tank equipment
- Manage and support drivers and field crews, ensuring safety and compliance standards are met
- Coordinate scheduling, dispatch, and logistics to keep jobs running on time
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Manage vendor and customer relationships across oil and gas clients
- Track equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime
- Assist with hiring, training, and performance management of drivers and staff
- Step in to drive when needed, using your CDL and hands-on trucking experience
- Monitor budgets, costs, and operational efficiency
What We're Looking For
- Valid CDL (Class A preferred)
- Proven experience in trucking, oilfield services, or fleet operations
- Prior experience in a management, supervisor, or dispatch role
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Solid leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Comfortable working in the oil and gas field service industry
