Duties
- Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, and SolidWorks.
- Prepare comprehensive schematics and technical documentation for construction and engineering projects.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design concepts into accurate CAD representations.
- Assist in reviewing design plans for compliance with specifications, codes, and safety standards.
- Support the creation of construction documentation, including plans, sections, elevations, and details.
- Conduct revisions based on feedback and ensure all drawings are up-to-date with project requirements.
- Utilize 2D animation techniques when necessary to visualize complex mechanical or structural systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, or SolidWorks.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and drafting standards.
- Ability to produce clear schematics and detailed technical drawings for construction purposes.
- Familiarity with civil engineering concepts and construction processes.
- Knowledge of 2D animation techniques for project visualization is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail coupled with strong organizational skills.
