What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mohs Surgery Nurse position at Coastal Skin Surgery and Dermatology?
Busy dermatology practice is now accepting applications for an experienced clinical staff member (RN, LPN, or Medical Assistant) to work full time with one of our Mohs surgeons in our Fort Walton Beach office. This position supports a provider performing both Mohs micrographic surgery and general dermatology services. This role requires assisting the provider with surgical and medical dermatology procedures, patient intake and documentation, wound care, patient education, and follow-up care. To be successful in this position, you must be comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical and surgical environment while providing excellent customer service and compassionate patient care. Qualified candidates should possess strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask efficiently. Other ideal qualifications include knowledge of dermatologic diseases and medications, surgical assisting experience, injection skills, suture removal and wound care experience, mid-level to advanced computer skills with understanding of EHR systems and meaningful use requirements, strong work ethic, and the ability to work assigned schedule. Mohs surgery or dermatology experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with strong clinical skills and a positive attitude.
