We are looking for a professional, customer-focused Hospital Security Officer to support a busy healthcare environment. This role requires someone who enjoys staying active, interacting with people, and helping maintain a safe and welcoming hospital setting.
What You’ll Do
Provide a friendly, helpful presence for patients, visitors, and hospital staff

Conduct frequent foot patrols throughout hospital buildings and grounds

Monitor entrances, exits, and access control points

Respond quickly and professionally to incidents and requests for assistance

Write clear and accurate daily reports and incident documentation

Support hospital personnel with tasks that promote safety, service, and smooth operations
What We’re Looking For
Meets South Carolina state licensing requirements for security officers (or willing to obtain)

Strong communication skills and a positive, engaging attitude

Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced or stressful situations

Reliable, punctual, and able to follow detailed procedures

Willing and able to work 8-hour or 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Physical Requirements
This is an active position. Successful candidates should be able to:

Navigate large facilities, including stairwells and long hallways

Respond quickly during emergencies or urgent situations
Preferred Experience
Security, military, law enforcement, or healthcare security background
