About Zebulon CPL Baseball
The team in Zebulon will be a proud member of the Coastal Plain League. The CPL is a 15 team Collegiate Summer Baseball League ranging from Virginia to Georgia. The Zebulon Team is a CPL Expansion team that will have an Australian angle that will focus on affordable family entertainment, with a quality baseball product on the field.

Overview:
The Manager of Ticketing oversees all ticket sales for the Zebulon CPL franchise. This role is responsible for driving ticket revenue through packages, groups, and single game tickets, managing the box office and ensuring smooth, fan-friendly service on game days. The manager will supervise seasonal staff, maintain accurate reporting, and inventory systems, and play a key role in elevating the overall fan experience. A secondary, yet key role, is assisting with merchandise operations both in-stadium and online. This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented, revenue-focused, and passionate about building a successful ticketing and retail operation with fresh ideas.

Job Tasks Primary Role: Ticket Sales
• Drive revenue across all ticketing categories, including season tickets, group outings, mini plans, and single-game sales.
• Develop and execute outbound sales strategies, including phone calls, emails, meetings, and in-person community engagement to grow the fan base and increase ticket revenue.
• Manage daily box office operations, ensuring efficient ticket distribution, accurate inventory management, and smooth customer transactions.
• Set up and maintain ticketing software, including price codes, seating manifests, promotional offers, and discount structures designed to maximize sales.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while actively upselling ticket packages and identifying opportunities for repeat or expanded purchases.
• Coordinate ticketing support for community events, sponsor nights, theme nights, and large group outings, with an emphasis on generating bulk sales.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise seasonal sales and box office staff, ensuring consistent execution of ticketing procedures and strong sales performance.

Secondary Role: Merchandise Operations
• Work with CBC Sports retail and business managers to assist in retail operations, including ordering, receiving, inventory control, and sales for the team’s merchandise program.
• Manage the team store ensuring an organized, visually appealing, and well-stocked shopping experience on game or event days.
• Process online merchandise orders, ensuring accurate fulfillment and timely shipping.
• Implement consistent branding standards across all apparel and retail products in alignment with team guidelines.
• Train and supervise retail game-day staff, ensuring strong customer service and efficient operations.

Game Day & Fan Experience
• Oversee all box office and team store operations during home games and special events.
• Ensure signage, ticketing windows, retail spaces, and point-of-sale systems are fully functional before gates open.
• Collaborate with the front office to support theme nights, giveaways, promotions, and sponsor activations.
• Work closely with the marketing team to promote ticket offers, merchandise releases, and special sales events.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in sport management, business, marketing, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in ticket sales or operations, retail management, or revenue-generating roles (sports industry preferred).
• Experience with ticketing platforms
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience managing social media for an organization.
• Must have sports experience.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds over distances of at least 25 yards.
• Ability to bend, stoop, push, pull, and perform essential verbal and auditory communication tasks.
• Work safely in and around moving machinery and loud environments.

• Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Maintain a flexible schedule aligned with CPL games, events, and ballpark needs, including holidays and weekends.
