Position: Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Pain Management Clinic
2 Locations: Carlsbad and Mission Valley
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Hours

Coastal Pain & Spinal Diagnostics is a physician-led pain management clinic committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. We specialize in advanced interventional procedures, medication management, and individualized treatment plans for patients suffering from chronic pain.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented PA or NP to join our dynamic clinical team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in pain management or a related specialty. Experience with intrathecal pain pumps is preferred but not required—training can be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient evaluations and follow-up visits
- Assist with medication management and patient education
- Support interventional procedures as appropriate
- Participate in the management of intrathecal pain pumps (refills, assessments, coordination with device representatives)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR (Epic or similar)
- Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and external providers to ensure high-quality care
Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted California PA or NP license
- NCCPA certification
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in pain management, neurology, or similar field
- Intrathecal pain pump experience preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
- EMR experience preferred
