What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Coder and Biller position at Coastal Medical Billing?
Coastal Medical Billing is seeking to expand the company in search of someone eager to join our data entry team. We are looking for an individual to utilize ICD-10 codes, problem solve with patients, and speak with insurance companies in addition to other roles. This job entails flexible schedules, with 8 hours per day expected Monday-Friday, but weekends can be offered upon preference. Data entry experience preferred, but not required. HIPAA training will be required upon hire, and will be given through the company.
Position information:
- Attention to detail, and willingness to learn new skills.
- Software application experience preferred.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Experience with insurance plans, verification, and eligibility preferred, not required.
