Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Coastal Management Solutions (CMS) is seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing services at the Beaufort County Detention Center in Beaufort, South Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated nursing professional to provide quality patient care in a correctional healthcare setting while working alongside a collaborative healthcare team.

- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
- Monitor and document patient health status, vital signs, and responses to treatment
- Assist with intake screenings, assessments, and ongoing patient evaluations
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate nursing interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Ensure compliance with all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current, active, and unrestricted South Carolina Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
- Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
- Strong clinical, assessment, and patient care skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Eligible to work in the United States
