Logistical Resource Group is looking for local delivery drivers that would like to go through our Logistics University School. NO DELIVERY DRIVING EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. Advance at your own pace to your desired stage of vehicle as a delivery driver: personal vehicle, cargo van, step van/box truck, straight truck/semi truck.

Job Summary
As an Alternative Vehicle Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for making FedEx package deliveries while operating your own vehicle. Flexible start time, 4-5 hour shifts.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of packages from terminal to destination
- Load shipments into personal vehicle
- Perform frequent lifting of packages
- Inspect vehicle for defects and safe operating condition before and after deliveries
- Perform all duties as a delivery driver in a manner that promotes superior customer service and professionalism
- Safe driving while observing all traffic rules and company safety policies
Requirements
- Delivery driver must be 21 years or older
- Physically able to handle the walking, lifting, bending, and stooping required to perform this job
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Reliable SUV, Van, or Truck to make deliveries out of
- The vehicle model year must no older than 15 years
- Must be able to pass drug screen, criminal background check and motor vehicle report
- Strong desire to learn
- Team player with strong work ethic
- Comfortable using electronic handheld devices and GPS.
- Weekend availability preferred for delivery driver
