Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various fleet vehicles on a regular schedule with your own tools. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with tools and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in vehicles and equipment
- Inspect and test systems to ensure proper functioning
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on delivery trucks
- Ocassionaly perfrom time sensitive roadside repairs/break fixes to get delivery trucks back on their routes
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair principles
- Proficiency in gas and diesel engines
- Familiarity with tools and their safe operation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required
