Job Summary
Coastal Lawn Services is looking for a dependable and experienced Lawn Care Crew Leader to lead a small crew in providing high-quality lawn maintenance, landscape installs, & cleanups for residential and commercial customers.
The Crew Leader is responsible for managing daily job execution, training team members, ensuring equipment readiness, and delivering professional results that meet Coastal’s quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a lawn care crew on scheduled routes and job sites
- Perform lawn maintenance duties including mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, cleanups, mulch/pine straw installs, and basic landscape work
- Coordinate with the owner on scheduling, materials, and job notes in Jobber
- Train and mentor crew members on safety, efficiency, and proper techniques
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to Coastal Lawn Services standards
- Inspect finished work before leaving job sites
- Communicate professionally with customers when needed
- Maintain and track equipment, report repairs, and ensure trailers and trucks stay organized
- Assist with light fencing or irrigation work when required
- Manage time on site and keep jobs on schedule
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years lawn care or landscape experience
- Previous leadership or crew lead experience required
- Ability to operate commercial mowers, trimmers, edgers, blowers, etc.
- Basic knowledge of landscape installs, cleanups, and property maintenance
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to train others and keep a crew motivated
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Comfortable working outdoors in the Florida heat
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
