Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Mobile Technician to join our team at a leading manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, industrial maintenance expertise, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment on-site. This role involves working in dynamic environments, providing field service support. Candidates with experience in pipefitting or hydraulics systems, knowledge of petrochemical and refining operations is a plus. The Mobile Technician will play a critical role in maintaining equipment reliability and supporting production efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Working alongside customer maintenance and operations professionals in plant/terminals.
- Adhere to all safety and permitting within customer locations.
- Able to identify different fittings and adapters to connect hose and piping systems.
- Operate and maintain company equipment and document test results for work orders and documentation.
- Safely use field service tools such as impacts, hand tools to complete job.
- Document all testing activities accurately using database and tablet; prepare detailed reports for management review.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with internal teams and external vendors when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance or pipefitting within a manufacturing plant environment.
- Hands-on expertise with flanges, bolts, gaskets, hoses, piping systems.
- Experience operating field service equipment; valid driver’s license required for travel between sites and TWIC
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to analyze complex technical issues efficiently.
- Effective communication skills in English; customer service experience is advantageous.
