JOB TITLE: Vehicle DetailerEMPLOYER: Coastal Health Systems of Brevard REPORTS TO: Division Chief- Logistics and Fleet SUMMARY: Responsible for performing thorough and timely interior and exterior cleaning of all company owned vehicles, including but not limited to washing, waxing, vacuuming, sweeping and polishing surfaces. Responsible for safely moving vehicles to and from detailing areas. Inspects completed work to ensure quality standards. Interacts with to ensure their satisfaction with detailing processes. Operates various tools and equipment such as buffers, steamers and vacuums to achieve high quality results. Maintains accurate records of services performed and issues identified during the detailing process. All Coastal team members are expected to portray a positive presence to the community that is reflective of the company’s values of positivity, inclusivity, and most importantly, making connections for LIFE! DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:This position is required to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality in regards to electronic records and all forms of proprietary information. Work products and/or protected information will not be shared or otherwise transferred outside of the company without the prior expressed consent of the President/CEO. Communicates any vehicle issues or damages to management in a timely manner. Complies with state, local, and federal laws (e.g. state & county inventory levels, OSHA).Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with all levels of staff and personnel.Demonstrates excellent communication, cooperation and responsiveness with operations staff.Observes and complies strictly with all HIPAA policies and regulations. Maintains a safe and healthy workplace in accordance with all appropriate OSHA standards, company policies and standard operating procedures. Attends continuing education pertinent to materials.Follows all safety policies and procedures. Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.Performs other related duties as assigned by management.Regular and prompt attendance is required.Aligns with organization mindset of Just Culture.Works with the organization to meet the standards set forth in CAAS.Presents professional appearance and demeanor.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:This job has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.Physically and mentally able to operate an ambulance type vehicle.Current Florida Driver License with driving record that meets company insurance requirements.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Must be able to read/write/speak/understand English language fluently.Proficient in MS Office platforms.Standard/Specialized office equipment and software programs related to office processes. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Frequently required to stand/sit/walk.Frequently squat/push/pull.Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.Frequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl.Frequently required to talk or hear.Frequently works around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals.Frequently works with sharp objects (blades, needles, glass containers, glass vials, shears, etc.)Continual exposure to outside weather conditions.Continually works near moving mechanical parts. Occasionally works on ladders. Occasional exposure to extreme heat or cold (non-weather).Occasional exposure to blood borne and airborne pathogens or infectious materials.Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds unassisted.The employee must frequently lift/move 250 pounds with assistance.Specific vision abilities required for this job include; depth perception and ability to adjust focus; sufficient vision/hearing to meet motor vehicle licensing requirements.Specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles used: motor vehicles, mechanical tools, stretchers, computers, radios, personal safety equipment, solvents and automotive chemicals.Coastal is a 24/7/365 operation.
