Role Description
Coastal Glazing is seeking an Experienced Glazing Estimator to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity at our Fall River, MA location. The role involves preparing detailed cost estimates for commercial glazing projects, analyzing blueprints and project specifications, soliciting supplier proposals, collaborating with project managers, and maintaining accurate cost databases. You will play a critical role in ensuring our projects are completed within budget and align with the company’s high standards of excellence.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Strong skills in preparing project estimates, cost analysis, and budgeting
- Experience with software tools for project estimating and cost tracking
- Strong understanding of commercial glazing systems and materials
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for collaborating with suppliers, contractors, and team members
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate estimates under deadlines
- Experience in the construction or glazing industry is highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is a plus
- Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to project-specific challenges
