Job Summary
Accountant/Office Manager – Construction
Coastal Glass is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced office environment. Candidates with experience in Sage or Quick Books software and construction accounting are strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounting and bookkeeping functions
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Enter invoices, receipts, and financial transactions accurately
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with year-end reporting
- Maintain general ledger accounts and supporting documentation
- Track construction project costs and property-related expenses
- Assist with budgeting, cash flow reporting, and financial analysis
- Maintain organized accounting records and files
- Provide administrative and accounting support as needed
Qualifications
- 3 years of accounting experience preferred
- Experience in construction is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and Sage accounting software is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- High level of integrity and professionalism
