Kitchen and Bath Designer

We are seeking an accomplished Kitchen and Bath Designer to join our team, who will be responsible for delivering exceptional design services to customers, bringing their visions to life through creativity and industry expertise.

As a key member of our team, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and providing outstanding customer service while working towards our goal of becoming a leading Kitchen and Bath showroom.

Key responsibilities include:

• Engage with customers to comprehend their needs and preferences, and present a range of Kitchen and Bath products to meet their requirements
• Collaborate with customers to design their dream kitchens and bathrooms, utilizing your expertise and creativity
• Apply 20/20 Design software and multiple cabinet lines to layout, specify, and price cabinets for customer projects
• Ensure accurate quotes, orders, and tracking of all Kitchen and Bath products
• Host design consultation meetings and maintain project communication with customers
• Enter sales data into the point of sale system, and provide product and project process knowledge to support Sales Associates
• Work closely with project managers and contractors to guarantee successful installations
• Maintain and organize project documentation from start to finish
• Oversee pricing and merchandising for the department, and deliver exceptional customer service

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing Kitchen and Bath projects, including collaboration with cabinet installers, is required.
• At least 3 years of experience designing and quoting projects using 20/20 design software with multiple cabinet catalogs.
• A Degree in Interior Design is desirable, but not essential, and industry certification is a valuable asset.
• Submission of a design portfolio showcasing your skills and experience with 20/20 design software is mandatory.
• Experience specifying and ordering plumbing fixtures for Kitchen and Bath projects.
• Working with Kitchen and Bath remodel and installation contractors.
• Working directly with countertop fabricators.
• Excellent time management, record-keeping, and project management skills.
• Experience working with customer relationship management systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and electronic mail.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

A background in Flooring is beneficial, but not necessary, and we are willing to train the right candidate!
