Job Title: Morning Front Desk Staff
Location: Coastal Fitness, Kittery, Maine
Shifts Available: Monday/Friday 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM & Tuesday-Thursday 5:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Compensation: Based on experience

Job Overview:
We’re looking for a reliable and friendly Front Desk Staff member to be the welcoming face of Coastal Fitness during our early morning hours. This person plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth start to each member’s day and keeping the gym running efficiently during morning operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Open the gym promptly and securely at 5:00 AM
- Greet and check in members with a warm, professional attitude
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries about membership, classes, and general information
- Process membership sign-ups, renewals, and point-of-sale transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk, lobby area, and restrooms as needed
- Monitor member check-ins to ensure safety and accurate records
- Assist with towel service, stocking supplies, and cleaning duties
- Report any issues or concerns to gym management
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Dependable and punctual with a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Comfortable using computer systems and point-of-sale software
- Ability to work independently in the early morning hours
- Previous gym or front desk experience is a plus, but not required
