What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver position at Coastal Equipment Rentals?

Position Overview:
-Load and Unload equipment such as aerial lifts, excavators, off-road forklifts etc.
-Deliver and Pick-Up equipment from job sites within roughly 30 miles of Morehead City, North Carolina
-Inspect equipment for damage
-Minor maintenance and upkeep of the delivery trucks
-Interact with customers
Other duties assigned could include:
-Cleaning and servicing equipment such as excavators, skid steers, tractors etc.
-Help customers load/unload equipment
-Minor mechanical duties such as changing oil and other equipment maintenance
*Applicant must be able to squat, work outdoors, and occasionally lift up to 50lbs.
Job Requirements:
-Class A CDL, some restrictions may still be considered*
-Clean driving record
-Must have reliable transportation to and from work
-Ability to lift up to 50lbs
-Attention to detail and safety are paramount
