Maintenance Technician

Coastal Employment is currently hiring a Maintenance Technician for one of our clients located on Hilton Head Island, SC. This is a great opportunity for a dependable, hands-on individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced outdoor environment and takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming facility.
The ideal candidate will have general maintenance experience and the ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs efficiently while supporting the day-to-day operations of the property.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks throughout the facility
- Inspect and maintain equipment, lighting, water features, and attractions
- Troubleshoot minor electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues
- Assist with landscaping, painting, pressure washing, and property upkeep
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards across the property
- Complete preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and repairs
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and operational needs
- Properly use and maintain tools and equipment
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance, facilities, or handyman experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical repairs
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors and perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
