Responsibilities
- Verify incoming shipments against records, recording counts, pallet types, and discrepancies.
- Accurately input shipment data into the system, noting damages, weights, and charges.
- Assist with inventory accuracy through cycle counting and resolve issues like shortages or overages.
- Monitor warehouse management system for open invoices and support smooth receiving and shipping processes.
- Label pallets, verify inbound freight accuracy, and report damages or shortages.
- Set up storage areas for efficiency, operate warehouse technology such as RF guns, and audit product rotation.
- Identify and record pest activity and perform routine tasks as per SOPs.
- At least six months of warehouse experience, with experience operating electric pallet jacks preferred.
- Strong planning, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.
- Willingness to work in a dry grocery environment with temperature variations.
