Warehouse Order Selector

Role: Order Selector responsible for fulfilling customer orders by selecting products from warehouse racks, assembling, palletizing, and shrink-wrapping pallets. The position involves operating powered industrial equipment, working in dry, refrigerated, or freezer environments, and ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained.

Responsibilities

• Locate, lift, and handle cases, boxes, bags, and pallets of various grocery items including perishable and frozen products.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks safely and conduct routine safety inspections.
• Report damaged, out-of-stock, or low inventory items and use proper wrapping techniques to prevent product damage.
• Follow verbal and written instructions accurately in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety policies.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in order selecting and operating industrial equipment is advantageous.
• Ability to perform tasks accurately, meet production standards, and work safely in multi-temperature areas.
• Physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance, and to sit, walk, stand, crouch, kneel, and reach frequently.
• Ability to work in moderate to high noise environments, and flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
