Warehouse Forklift Operator / Unloader - Dayshift

Position Overview

Keep our communities fed by unloading and receiving inbound trailers in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Receiving product: recording code dates and breaking down pallets according to procedures
• Equipment operation: using forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and clamp machines to move merchandise
• Pallet maneuvering: transporting pallets from dock to appropriate aisles
• Speed and efficiency: ensuring trucks and products are processed without backlog
• Safety checks: inspecting equipment and performing safe lifting of varied weights and shapes
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum one year of sit-down forklift operation experience
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures
• Team-oriented with a passion for helping others
• Ability to handle materials safely, including sharp objects
  
  

Key Duties

• Unloading, recording, and breaking down inbound shipments
• Moving merchandise efficiently using appropriate equipment
• Maintaining safety standards and performing equipment inspections
• Standing, bending, lifting (up to 60 lbs), and walking on various surfaces
