Key Responsibilities Include
- Setting up and taking down cones, signs, and barricades
- Using stop/slow paddles to guide traffic and monitor site activity
- Following safety protocols learned during training
- Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors
- Maintaining vehicles and equipment safety and cleanliness
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions, possibly during nights, weekends, or emergency situations
- Standing or walking for 8-12 hours per shift
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to stand, walk, lift 40–50 pounds, and work outside for extended periods
- Willingness to work in traffic and diverse weather conditions
- Flexible schedule and punctuality
- Passing pre-hire screening, including drug testing
- Respectful attitude towards coworkers, clients, and the public
- Hourly pay of $19.50–$20.25 with overtime opportunities
