Traffic Control Flagger

Role Overview

The position involves working as part of a team at traffic sites, with no prior experience or degree required. Safety is prioritized, and comprehensive training is provided.

Your Main Duties Include

• Setting up and taking down cones, signs, and barricades
• Using stop/slow paddles to direct traffic
• Monitoring traffic and site activity
• Communicating effectively with crew and supervisors
• Maintaining vehicles and equipment in a safe, clean condition
• Working outdoors in various weather conditions, with flexibility for night, weekend, or emergency shifts
• Standing or walking for extended periods, lifting 40-50 pounds, and adhering to all safety protocols
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work outdoors, stand, walk, and lift heavy objects
• Willingness to work in traffic and adverse weather conditions
• Flexible schedule and punctuality
• Pass pre-employment screening, including a drug test
• Alertness around moving traffic and respectful interaction with coworkers and the public
  
  

Additional Information

Compensation: $16.25–$17.00/hour, with overtime opportunities and pay increases within the first year. Paid training and a traffic safety certificate are included.
