- Operate motorized and manual equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify freight documentation for accuracy, including type, weight, and hazardous materials.
- Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools like straps and pallets.
- Recoup or repair damaged freight as needed.
- Complete required reports and assist with freight documentation for customers.
- Perform hostling duties if required and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; must be at least 18 years old.
- Experience in warehousing, freight handling, or forklift operations preferred.
- Ability to perform basic math, lift and carry freight, and open trailer doors.
- Strong physical ability to bend, twist, squat, and push/pull freight.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
