Mobile Equipment Operator II

Role: The Mobile Equipment Operator II transports materials within a quarry, operating various heavy machinery to support production and safety standards.

Responsibilities Include

• Operating front end loaders, dozers, excavators, skid steers, and other mobile equipment based on operational needs.
• Inspecting equipment, reporting malfunctions, and performing maintenance or repairs.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment through cleanup activities.
• Accurately counting materials and coordinating with quality personnel for material blends.
• Communicating safety, maintenance, and production needs effectively.
• Adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies while promoting a safety culture.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to read and write; High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with heavy equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Physical ability to perform strenuous activities in all weather conditions.
• Dependability, self-motivation, teamwork, and adaptability to fast-paced environments.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
