Role Overview: This position involves the safe and efficient operation of equipment used for moving packages, documents, heavyweight freight, dangerous goods, and ULDs.
It includes assisting with pallet buildup and breakdown, acting as a liaison with ULD repair vendors, and performing additional assigned duties.
Qualifications & Skills: No formal education or experience is required. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance and maneuver packages of any weight using proper equipment or assistance. The role demands walking, standing, bending, squatting, and working in all weather conditions. Ability to climb stairs/ladders, work in noisy environments, and complete training is essential. Effective communication skills are necessary.
Key Duties: Operating equipment safely, handling heavy freight, supporting pallet assembly/disassembly, and coordinating with vendors. Must possess a valid driver’s license, as motorized conveyance operation is involved. The position is non-safety sensitive and requires a drug screen.
