- Verify freight documentation for accuracy, including type, weight, and hazardous materials.
- Secure freight inside trailers with appropriate tools like straps and pallets.
- Repair or recoup damaged freight as needed.
- Complete required documentation and assist with freight documentation for customers.
- Perform hostling duties if required and ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; must be at least 18 years old.
- Experience in warehousing, freight handling, or forklift operation preferred.
- Ability to perform basic math, lift and carry freight, and open trailer doors.
- Strong physical ability to bend, push, pull, and work independently or in a team.
- Previous dock or warehouse experience is advantageous.
