Export Manager

Role Overview: Responsible for managing daily distribution center operations, including labor management, shipping, receiving, and equipment maintenance. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, analyze operational reports, and develop process improvements to meet organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse operations, personnel, and safety protocols to ensure on-time delivery and shipment accuracy.
• Partner with management to develop improvement plans, monitor KPIs, and control budgets.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and support service standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and legal regulations, and supervise sanitation efforts.
• Lead staffing, training, performance management, and career development for team members.
• Work with maintenance and safety teams to uphold warehouse conditions and safety policies.
• Stay informed on industry trends and recommend process enhancements.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years in distribution center operations with two years in supervisory roles.
• Strong communication, organization, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in a hands-on environment, handle physical demands, and travel up to 15%.
  
  

Physical & Additional Requirements: Must frequently handle physical tasks, lift up to 75 pounds with assistance, and work in a warehouse environment with moderate to high noise levels. Flexibility to work non-standard hours and weekends as needed.
