Driver

We are seeking a Truck Driver responsible for

picking up and delivering trailers between Service Centers and turn-point locations using tractor-trailer combinations.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Operating tractor-trailer units, including doubles (and triples where applicable)
• Performing daily pre-trip and safety inspections
• Hooking/unhooking trailers and converter dollies
• Completing required documentation and maintaining accurate logs
• Complying with hazardous material regulations and company policies
• Following dispatch instructions and communicating updates
• Loading/unloading freight and performing necessary vehicle tire chaining
• Performing duties of a city driver or dock employee when needed
  
  

Qualifications Include

• Class A CDL with double/triple, hazardous materials, and tank endorsements (automatic transmission restriction allowed)
• Minimum of 1 year recent driving experience or successful completion of a driver development course
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and compliance with DOT regulations
• Ability to operate long combination vehicles in certain states
• Strong communication skills, physical ability to hook/unhook trailers, and ability to work independently or in a team
  
  

Work conditions: Long-distance driving in various weather, exposure to noise, vibrations, dust, diesel fumes, and DOT-shipped hazardous materials. Overnight stays may be required, and hours vary based on operational needs.
